Ministries

What is fellowship? It's kind of a "church-y" word. It means to socialize with others, but more than that. Besides exchanging small talk, we check in with each other to encourage, comfort, sympathize, offer help, and talk about important and meaningful things happening in our lives. Often--most of the time--we do this while eating and drinking together.

Each week after our worship service, we cross the courtyard to Building B, often called the social hall, for fellowship. We serve coffee and cookies. Those of us who regularly attend try to find new visitors to welcome and enfold. When there's a special birthday or anniversary, we sing Happy Birthday and sometimes have a special cake for the occasion.
