God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1.27)

Q. Since there is but one God, why do you speak of three: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?

A. Because that is how God has revealed himself in his Word: these three distinct persons are one, true, eternal God. (Heidelberg Catechism, Q&A 25)

Scripture teaches us that we were created in God’s image. Though God is One being, God exists in a Trinity of persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  So, part of being human is being made for community, because God exists in community. It seems people are craving community more and more today. Though incredible advances in technology have connected us around the globe more than ever in history, we have less connection to our families, friends, and neighbors than ever in history.  We are a disconnected and isolated people.

We foster community through different groups for all ages: Adult Groups, Youth Groups, and Children’s Groups.
